My house is a sub sale which the paint condition is quite ok, the contractor said no need sealer/primer because the paint is still new and I'm going to paint on the same color. Is this true?

By the way, which brand of paint is better? Dulux Weathershield vs Nippon Weatherbond?

reasonable answer IMO.. if your paint is still ok.. why bother to repaint again.. just directly apply top coat..

Depend.. 1tier paint IMO is Dulux, Nippon, jotun.. all these 3 should provide a decent result..

Can we use Maxilite with color to paint indoor on existing paint same color for 2 layers?

Anyone know cheap contractor to paint house in Penang mainland? My 1st quote with paint RM10k for labor and paint double storey semi-d whole house include wall and ceiling. 2nd quote per sqf rough calculation for labor only at RM5k which I think I can buy paint for total less than RM 3k.

If your existing paint is emulsion paint, then you can use maxilite.

based on my previous renovation exp. the 5k quotation is about right IMO.. if you were saying 3k for the paint and labour usually will cost you around 70-80% of total paint cost..

He help save some cost n time. Can paint same color. I choose Nippon. What paint contractor recommend? You buy or he included for paint?

Just touch it, you can feel with your hand, hard to describe here. Your painter should be able to tell.

Hi, RM9.5K for painting work for second hand 2.5 storey 22' x 70' both internal & external wall & celling include water jet cleaning for external wall.

Paint should be excluded. Is the price reasonable?
