They said it was fungus and did some cleaning. Luckily the lens were not damaged.
Got my videocam back after ONE working day. No charge as still under warranty
Going to dry box my videocam from now onwards.

QUOTE(ieR @ May 2 2011, 12:05 PM) erm, i have no idea yet, wait till A77 out with the new 16-50 then only decide, ieR, what new 16-50 lens is this? if A77 is good, 16-50 is affordable, i stay crop, get new 16-50 if A77 is good, 16-50 too expensive, i stay crop, get other 17-70 or 1750 if A77 not up to expectation, (i have high expectation), i wait for FF. *offtopic: i am planning to let go my 200-400, PM me for more info. |

QUOTE(ahpingko @ May 9 2011, 07:00 PM) btw, mine problem is soft focus on my portrait..i am shooting on F2.2...sometime i get real sharp result..i using local AF all the time and didnt do any focus and reframe, body moving,etc...but i got 1 habit..i am on AF-S and i tend to focus many times...example, i like to keep on press half shutter to make it focus repeatedly...until i feel good then i snap..it is because of this?..i don have any sample of soft focus here as i del on the spot..i will check my photos on a550 as soon as i take then i press zoom 1 time to see whether the close/face portion nicely/sharply focused...but i only get sharp result like 2 out of 10...why ah?.. I have exactly the same problem on my A550 + 1750f2.8. Focus on eyes but usually backfocus to around the ears.I initially thought it was backfocus issue until I tested further and found that it usually backfocus under lowlight or incandescent light, no matter whether I use my F58 flash (with AF illuminator) or not. Damn irritating but I don't know what to do..... When it's bright, the pictures are damn sharp though.... This post has been edited by kmarc: May 9 2011, 07:57 PM |
