67zai, I used to have both 1750 and 16-105, but i love the 16-105 cos its wider and longer and lighter.....additionally it focus speed is acceptable....if need indoor, I have flash so nothing to worry at all..

i choose sony because

1. all my prime lenses have antishake built-in (SSS)
2. the lenses (not all) are noticably slightly cheaper

end of day its not the gear that create the photo, its the person using the gear.....

ier, and thankfully its brass not the alloy version, but first time i hold a heavy 55mm ahahhaha

i suggest play makro first, u can play with 50mm for bokeh for now ma...until bored with macro then can sell the 50mm then get 35 1.4 hopefully if sony release....then at the end u got macro and bokeh wooo

hmm well for outdoor its ok.. buteven on my 16-105 i felt it's abit slow, so i have to resort to brighter lens and prime....
but the beercan is abit slow and hunting..or maybe its just the a550 hmm.gif

i think only sony 50 f1.8 sam is most expensive among other brands hahahaha

anyway the options of other brands is more wider choice of second hand lenses...... i know i don't need f1.2 but its really fun when u try it...

woo ur fren so rich....... i think a580 got video and the extra small tiny gadgets u get in the cybershot range........plus better iso handling at 1600-3200 thats about it..

i think he should save for better lenses
