said bye bye to Sigmalux today.
now poison shield so low. please i had in mind the Sigma 30mm f1.4 - SAL 35 f1.8 - Sigma 24/28 f1.8 - F43? but the Sigma(s) are quite and old lenses and the mfd for 30mm f1.4 is not that short (40cm). then the Sigma 24/28 doesn't have HSM , so probably the AF noise should be around the SAM lenses. So SAL 35mm f/1.8?? |

QUOTE(zstan @ May 3 2011, 10:41 PM) ohhh.. no wonder.. but the colours also a bit different from my a300.. i dunno why i see other cameras punya colors so weird compared to my a300... probably some models screen are more saturated, contrasty, etc . i noticed my bro's a380 is more saturated on its screen. and the B&W looks nicer, the black is more blackish and contrast-ier. but on my laptop screen just the same. (or is it just my laptop not calibrated QUOTE(liquiddog @ May 3 2011, 11:15 PM) guys, regarding that AF, MF tab on my a550, which one should i push to? on SAM lenses (SAL 1855 / SAL 55 200 / SAL 50 f1.8 / etc) , u just have to switch the one on the lens to either MF or AF... felt kinda weird having both AF on lens and body lol becareful not to twist the focus ring while on AF hehe just got my adapter from bro cjlai another bokeh spam ![]() my lappy so dusty =( |

Veron83 : nice shot
this 2nd one is mama monyet ahpingko : the local AF is good but sometimes not accurate. i most of the time stick to the cross-type AF points for big big aperture and other AF points for smaller aperture. not to say must use MF all the time, but practice makes perfect. also the 3rd pic looks sharp enuff for me btw, anyone here know who/where can do or offer/sell service of calibration for monitors ?? QUOTE(ahpingko @ May 9 2011, 10:21 PM) lol...cowan..xD...i thought a580 damn good in AF?.. IINM all sony dslr/t have at least 1 cross type AF point , the middle one. wow..my a550 don have such thing.. dont worry much bout the cross type larr, most probably just ur body calibration abit lari . just wait for bro ier come back KL also the a550 have the MF check function wut XD QUOTE(d4rkholeang3l @ May 9 2011, 10:23 PM) @mastering, i thought the cross point is those at middle left, middle, and middle right? the middle one is for sure, the others depends on camera model. Some have , some different place the intersection of those 'lines' for specific repair/service go cari specialist , like when have skin problem , go find dermatologist. same goes with cameras, general service may not know or be as good as a specialist. (ehem2, promoting ier again erm also i noticed if using the Face Detection function with big aperture most of the time will backfocus, stop down abit then only ok . try off this and use AF point only |
