hi, i'm planning to get my grandmother a new hp. she's currently using a samsung flip hp but the buttons are so small which makes it hard for her to type text messages and make calls.

do you guys know any handphones with large n easy to see buttons and huge screen ? could be any brand but preferably Samsung.

and if possible i want the phone to be as basic as possible, no camera, but must have colored screen and easy to find smile.gif

haha i think thats way too fancy for her, not too mention expensive too sweat.gif

btw speaking of that i just realize that all touchscreen phones have huge screens n the buttons that appear inside the screen are quite large too

so i think i'm gonna buy her a touch screen phone, what is the most basic touch screen phone available ?

Hye,

Just want to share with you, on 1day b4 CNY's eve i bought a phone for my grandmother..she was struggling with Nokia phones or phones that with small letters and small sreens because u old already ma...so i did some survey & bought a better phone for her..

Touch Screen = Not good for old ppl, because it is not easy to learn for old ppl

Color Screen = It is not that important afterall, because the phone is purely for outgoing & incoming calls

The most important for them is :-

1. LARGE screen
2. LARGE keypad
3. LOUD sound for incoming calls & outgoing
4. EASY to use the phone.

They dont need fancy fancy types of phones actually.. i eventually decided to buy this phone from her, i did pretendly asked her, do she like the phone u showed her in my laptop..she said ok, nice big keypads..so i have no doubts, and i purchased the phone back home, do some protection on her phone like screen protector & all around the phone..then i set everything nicely for her, then i present it to her..

Although the phone is not SUPER expensive like RM 1-2k but she was happy enough as she loves the phone more than the previous phone she was using..okay, enough of craps, i bought her this phone.

user posted image

p/s : She is 77yrs old this year, with NO short sighted just old vision problem (like cant see small things) & she is still driving my Saga Blm (MANUAL) to market, sometimes she drives out at night to fetch my cousin's..
