Actually less than 400 can get a decent HU d.. Depends on ur preferences only.. HU & Amp but stock speakers.. U will feel that the sound quality wont be that nice lah.. It's either u get aftermarket HU but standard speakers, or aftermarket HU & speakers then only amplifier, or stock HU & aftermarket speakers with amp..

It won't be nice.. U'll experience what some may call 'speaker breaking' at higher volumes as our stock speakers' output is quite low.. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's 20W. If u want better sound experience but no budget yet, change either 1 first.. HU or Speakers first. Amp & woofer should be the last to add.

Can.. Alpine's CDE-100EUB only around RM 300++.

Reminder: Don't go for Sony's HU this time. U'll regret it. SQ playas abandoned the idea of using Sony HU few years ago due to their sound quality degrading in their more recent models.

That will depend on ur budget. Of course, most aftermarket HUs that cost a bomb have the function..

Soundproof the layer between the board & the metal deck. Mine I did that. Never bounce at all.

Pioneer & Alpine are already known for their SQ. A cheap one would play well. Kenwood is still relatively new in SQ department, but they've improved over the years & so far their top-end models are better than some Alpine & Pioneer top end models. At first I thought wanna go for 1 of Pioneer's HU. But I've decided to give Kenwood a try since my previous HU was Alpine, and I've tried my friends' Pioneer HUs before. So it depends on ur budget. If u have no budget, Alpine base models will be the best shot. If u have a little budget, go for Pioneer. If u have a lot of money to spend, go for Kenwood's. If u just striked lottery, go for McIntosh

Tried the new Petronas Xtra just now, full tank. Ran like 40+ KMs on it, here's what I can tell ya'll:

1. Engine idles quite smoothly, comparable to Caltex 95/97. +1
2. At 80KM/h, no weird noises whatsoever. 2k RPM, smooth. +1
3. Acceleration from 0-80 comparable to Caltex 95. +1
4. 110-120 KM/h onwards, weak acceleration. Feels like running on Shell 95. -1
5. 120 KM/h onwards, engine noise became very obvious even while not accelerating, just maintaining 120 KM/h. -1
6. Very easy to maintain the speed at around 90-100 KM/h as opposed to Mobil/Esso. +1
7. Very good FC, better than Esso/Mobil. 47 KMs done @ 130 KM/h constant, 6.7-6.9 L/100 KMs. +1

If u were to ask me whether is this new petrol from Petronas is worth the money... Maybe.. Only if u're doing a lot of city drives. Very efficient & low consumption, but noisy & weak on high RPMs.

Overall verdict = Quite good where FC is concerned. Beats Esso/Mobil. My new 2nd choice now, first choice still Caltex. Caltex = Power, Petronas = FC. 

Can tahan in out in out for 1 hour meh.. That one that means got something wrong with ur sperm pump ady. haha..
