QUOTE(xandras @ Apr 12 2011, 05:42 PM) Castrol Edge is fully synthetic.. Just book 1st la Boss.Well the only way to know is either u do a chemical test on it or just read it from the bottle la.. We've discussed about this just now. 0W-40 & 5W-40, the difference is in the viscosity. The way engine oil works, the viscosity (kepekatan or kelikatan, as u may prefer) differs when the engine is cold & when it's at operating temperature. So 0W-40 is less viscous or 'less pekat' during cold start and offers minimal protection for the engine but provides better performance. 0W-40 is too thin for our engine, go for at least 5W-30 or 5W-40. Boh bian lor. Drive auto sure like that wan lah.. Dun wan gearbox spoil fast then cannot always shift to N lah.. Good lah.. so they told u whats the source of the noise? O.o masa I pokai la u all organize this n that... Bulk order here n there... |

Today have a chit chat with the Mechanic under my office, bosch brake pad lots of problem, and those stock break pad normally for normal use only, if go genting FnF confirm die c0ck one.
He quoted me 180 for Bendix with installation. Not sure is which one, will find out from him end off the month, now broke d... He also say that there is another mod for better ride & handling which is change the absorber, but dunno to which absorber la... need to clarify with him again. As for exhaust mod, according to him only few in Malaysia is knowledgeable and can do it properly, not ah beng one la... So be careful in your search of exhaust mod. Or else you gonna end up like a fello personarian's Saga FL. The nut should have hit the foreman wei. The mechanic own experience is spark plug shot out. Bonnet also can go through and the plug ended up at the ceiling. If you got a headshot from this sort of accident, confirm that's the last day of your life. And worst thing is you might be classified as sudden death. But again, shit do happen. "So make sure your mechanic know the safety at their work place." my rm0.05 Added on April 12, 2011, 10:45 pm QUOTE(samwongjyhhorng @ Apr 12 2011, 10:14 PM) my fren was using persona elegance manual..he juz install jasma adjustable cam pulley..he set the powerband from 4.5k-6.5k rpm..he told me the feeling reali different and much powerful than stock..cost onli below RM300..is worth? QUOTE(xandras @ Apr 12 2011, 11:26 PM) How to compare like that? It's like comparing a Myvi with Campro IAFM 1.6 engine to a Persona with the same engine. The weight difference is there. what RS pad? But if u have to know, I've tried racing with a Swift Sport 1.6 before. 40-120 KM/h I smoke him. 120KM/h onwards his acceleration faster. I waited for almost a month too. It's totally up to u. But ur car is still considerably new. Let ur brake pads bed in a little while more then see how satisfied are u with it. If u're not satisfied, then change pads. No harm done as ur brake pads are still new. Jasma? U wait for ur fren's car to have problems first.. Then only we see whether it's still worth it. Jasma QC very bad lah. Cheap also not worth it. Bendix at RM 180 should be MTK. Anything lesser than that at RM 180 is not worth it. Why wanna change absorber? Our car's handling is actually very good already, the only thing u need to change is ur rims and tyres to a wider & lower profile one. Then u get the all in one package: Stability, ride & handling. Lotus Tuning FTW Alasan... Come come all join me with RS pads btw did you changed your disc brake also? coz i think i saw your disc there got hole one. not solid plain like our stock one This post has been edited by K.Lee: Apr 12 2011, 11:31 PM |

QUOTE(xandras @ Apr 12 2011, 11:55 PM) Different lor.. My life damn susah loh i tell u... If only one of those 3 sponsor me...or else don't want go genting TT for 10times. So see you guys at the 15th TT.If u can afford it why not go for better one rite? Price difference also very minimal oni, I think around RM 20 if I'm not mistaken. Me lor.. Haiz.. and Zeng.. Added on April 12, 2011, 11:56 pmThe reason why I used slotted rotor with RS 550 pads are because slotted rotor can dissipate heat faster than stock solid rotors. In a way the pads and rotors both can last longer n give better performance.. So when wanna go? last week of april or 1st week of may? |
