moe81, I guess I need to check on my bf% first before proceeding. Back again, the chest part, what are the weights you carry to grow it ? Currently I am on 52kg ....

Not moe but its >125kgs and you need other exercises also,"carrying" weight is just 49%.
@Pedro
Hahaha. thanks pedro. that's too much credit, i'm afraid i can't take that. i can bench 115kg max only la... but some of the beast here can bench >140(ken, darkie. lol).
@patrick
Yea. it'll be a good benchmark for u to measure ur bodyfat first. i have quite an accurate method which involves some logarithm and measurements. wait, let me look up for it.
Added on March 31, 2011, 1:48 pmhere, i found it.
How to Measure Body Fat Using the US Navy Method After a good search thru this forum i found nothin on how to measure %bf.
So, here it is. somethin i found on the net which seems to be pretty accurate. some of the pros may try it out and correct me if i'm wrong.
How to Measure Body Fat Using the US Navy Method
While most people associate measuring body fat with skin calipers, there's another method that involves taking a few measurements and using a formula to determine the percentage of body fat. This method, used by the US Navy, is as accurate (and possibly more accurate) than the skinfold test.[1] Plus, it's more convenient. So here's how to use what the Navy calls the "rope and choke" technique to measure your body fat percentage.
Steps:
1.Measure your height, without shoes.
2.Measure the circumference around your abdomen, at a horizontal level around the navel for men, and at the level with the least width for women. Don't pull your stomach in.
3.Measure the circumference of the neck, below the larynx with the tape sloping slightly downward to the front. Avoid flaring your neck out.
4.For women only: Measure the circumference of the hips, at the largest horizontal measure.
5.Plug the numbers into one of the formulas below, or use this online calculator.
6.Round to the nearest full percent.
Formulas
•For menall measurements in inches:
%Fat = 86.010*LOG(abdomen - neck) - 70.041*LOG(height) + 36.76
•For men, all measurements in centimeters:
%Fat = 86.010*LOG(abdomen - neck) - 70.041*LOG(height) + 30.30
•For women, all measurements in inches:
%Fat = 163.205*LOG(abdomen + hip - neck) - 97.684*LOG(height) - 78.387
•For women, all measurements in centimeters:
%Fat = 163.205*LOG(abdomen + hip - neck) - 97.684*LOG(height) - 104.912
I hope u're average in maths.

Of course I wont be accidentally get too big, that is why I am inquiring more info ... Well, I don't have a goal to achieve a bodybuilder size. If you have achieve and experience, then share with us, by just talking moon or tree, it doesn't point of where I am ...
no need to get all hostile. As everyone said, u really need to sort ur shit out. now that we got that out of the way. let's talk a lil about realism. what they actually meant to say was, the progress really isn't that fast that suddenly u look like coleman without even you realising it. it's far more likely that u give up working out because of the very very slow process than to outgrow ur expectation. well, even though my physique doesn't show it, i have more than 10 years of experience in working out. not continuous tho.
Bottom line, if u're lifting 52kg now, it's not possible that u'd be lifting 125 kg in a month time. so, at ur body weight and physical appearance, i'd suggest u abstain from statements like " oh, i dun wanna get too big" or " i dun wanna look like pro body-builders" or better yet "i dun want my arms to look too big". ppl who look like that, have put in a work of a lifetime to look the way they do. the dedication, dicipline, money, and hours spent is somewhat un-explainable.
one of the reason i rarely post in here, is coz of all the smarty-art staments made by newbies and being in a constant state of denial trying to prove their point. Let me tell ya'll something, ya'll ain't got a point. just by reading few articles online and flipping thru couple of fitness magazines, u think u know it all. WRONG. You dun know jack.
A piece of advice for newbies. get off ur denial state and get listening and anylizing the comments mabe by more experienced ones. only by doin so, u'll learn. u won't learn shit being locked in ue denial closet not wanting to get out. now guys, stop all the yapping and get real.
P.s.
i'm sorry if i sounded a lil harsh. this was not meant to flame any induvidual. it's generally meant for all the newbies. NO PUN INTENDED. Ya think?
