So far no reports of instability in Leedroid 2.4. Except one thing, you need to keep USB debugging on or it will stuck at the HTC logo during reboots. Other than that, other users are reporting ok, even with flashing without wiping. Lee is looking into the USB debugging issue.

Damn. Can't get past the HTC boot screen. Do you need S-OFF for Leedroid 3.0.3? I'm still ON

QUOTE(darkfaerytales @ Apr 24 2011, 06:09 PM) QUOTE(phgmail @ Apr 24 2011, 07:06 PM) I think I got it. The alignment patch destroyed my EXT3. I will try again after this. Need to repartition and recharge again. |

QUOTE Our engineering teams have been working hard for the past few months to find a way to bring Gingerbread to the HTC Desire without compromising the HTC Sense experience you’ve come to expect from our phones. However, we’re sorry to announce that we’ve been forced to accept there isn’t enough memory to allow us both to bring Gingerbread and keep the HTC Sense experience on the HTC Desire. We’re sincerely sorry for the disappointment that this news may bring to some of you. SoS So Desire running GB roms are in an exclusive club now. Cannot get GB unless rooted and running custom ROM. |

Some devs managed to come out with decent Sense based GB roms. Lee's one is quite good. Although not totally bug free, but they will be quite stable once everything is ironed out. Which makes me wonder, is the memory issue only an excuse from HTC?

QUOTE To resolve Desire's memory issue and enable the upgrade to Gingerbread, we will cut select apps from the release. Look for status updates starting next week. We apologize for any confusion. SoS - HTC Facebook Page |
