finally i rooted my desire.
but there's 1 thing bothering me.
when we press power+volume down button, the phone enters into hboot mode rite?
and there's supposed to be 'hboot usb' below 'simlock' in the menu..
but mine dont have the hboot usb.. is that important?
i ran the unrevoked.exe, and i didnt touch my phone at all. the program ran itself until it's done. and now i have the superuser application. that means my phone is rooted right?

now what should i do next?
i just need more space to install more apps.
which rom should i try?

err, why is it that I cant open titanium backup?
it says, "error. sorry, i could not acquire root privileges. this application will *not* work! please verify that your ROM is rooted and includes busybox, and try again."

downloaded busybox.
but updating superuser was unsuccessful.
btw, to flash CM7 Hboot, is it the same way as flashing custom rom?
to S-off, i can just use unrevoked forever, right?

but from what i understand, if i follow the s-off method using alpharev, then i''ll get both s-off and new hboot flashed like the one u suggested, right?

Guys..im doing s-off using alpharev.step 1 and 2 was done smoothly.
But now it stops while doing step 3..
It says..

Booting your phone for the next step.
Step 3 of 3 is starting. During this step, you will receive instructions.... do not turn off your phone ..... etc2.

Waiting for flashing to complete..

And it just stops there. I didnt touch the phone nor the laptop while its running.. so whats happening here? Huhuhu

guys.. any idea on my problem?
should i just disconnect my phone and restart the whole thing?

so i should try disconnecting my phone without rebooting it?
and start booting the cd again?

i plugged it out and restart everything again.
and finally its done!
my phone is now S-OFF!!
so next step is to flash cm7 Hboot which can give me more internal memory?

flashed reflex s rom with stock hboot..
coz i dun really understand how to flash the cm7 hboot..
but guys, is it ok to partition sdcard through recovery only?
coz it didnt really ask which ext partition we wanna create..
does it really matter whether ext2/3/4?

reflex s doesnt link contact with fb automatically?
all my contacts are not linked to their respective fb acc..
but i've already run sync fb with contact..

guys, why is my recorded video playback in landscape?
eventhough i recorded them in portrait, it changes to landscape when playback.
is there anyone using reflex s having this problem?

why is it that my screen timeout keeps changing back by itself to 30s?
i set it to 2min, but somehow after some time the timeout getting faster, and when i check, it was set back to 30s.. i dunno how or when or why was it changed.. btw, im on reflex s.. anyone else with this prob?

anyone ever tried using car panel/premium navigation?
i cant.. it force close everytime i wanna tried to start navigation..

guys, my phone got problem..
when i call someone, i cant hear them, but they can hear me.
but when they call me, i can hear them, no problem whatsoever.
is it something to do with custom rom?
if i wanna restore back from recovery, should i wipe everything and restore or can straight away restore?

reflex s. i remember calling my friend last thursday and i have no problem hearing the other side...

well, it shouldnt be a problem with volume..
