guys i am finally getting the courage to root my desire xD !!

are there any updated tutorials as all i see is sept 2010

and i am sure there are some minor changes that could change our rotting process ?

so the easiest way is using unrevoked ?

guys i am a little confused with amon ra and clockwork.. so these both are as good as each other ? i read that amon ra is the better one and clockwork lacks some features.. is it significant ?

i wanna try amon ra ... do u guys know where can i dl the 2.0.1 version ??

sould be any prob right if i mount the amon ra image to unrevoked and root my phone ??

i found this site initially but couldnt dl it ytd cause internet's bad got it now..

just wondering if i need to do md5 checksum or anything like that to verify the file ??

or should i not worry and mount the image and proceed ? lol...

i read the post and it didnt say any md5 checksum not the program to check it.

I ROOTED my PHONE !!! with amon ra !! success !! now back to reading on how to load custom rom and apps 2 sd !!

hi guys.. i am not sure how to proceed now lol ! lost

i wanna try custom rom and get apps2sd. so means i need to partition my sd card ? if i wanna try CM7 so i have to partition to ext 4 ?
and if i am using amon ra should i just go into recovery and partition it ?

s-off is not required right ? but i cant backup my apps with titanium without busybox and i cant install it without soff ?

yeah i read a little about it alright thanks i will try that out..

can i clarify some things ? if i flash new rom it will install in the internal memory and i partition my sd card, it's only for the apps2 sd but not for the rom to be installed there right ?

do i need to flash to the latest radio in order to run CM7 ??

i read in the wiki it says as long as its 5.XX den its alright but beside the download file it says flash to newest radio is needed !

hi just wanna ask i notice my batt life is a lil shorter after running cm7..

is there any setting i should change ? like updating kernal or radio ?
