I received the Kindle from you yesterday at around midnight. I do hope you remember

I just wanted to clarify if the kindle that was sold to me was a refurbished unit as it did not come with a power adapter and the official amazon user manual.

Also, i noticed that when i went to the settings menu earlier, the unit was registered to some user by the name of Farah.

I have sent you a sms regarding this matter so a response would be appreciated as i don't like paying the full amount for a refurbished unit.

Ashish called me to clarify that the unit is a replacement unit from his other client who sent her kindle previously. He offered for me to return the kindle which i shall do, by Monday as he mentioned that he'll be away this weekend.

Will settle this on monday , hopefully.

Refurbished? There are no refurbished units sold by Amazon- it must have been a replacement unit- btw the international versions do not come with power adaptors. Please return the unit at the earliest as i need to send it proper owner. Must have been the COD we did at 1230 midnight. Apologies for the inconvinience caused.

Would definitely recommend this seller as he is quite cooperative when dealing with his clients. Some sellers would rather runaway from the "problem" should they encounter any, but Ashish has kept his part of the deal.

Not sure if the above replacement unit was mine, but here's my story.

I bought a Kindle 3 Wifi from Ash in April, I think, and broke it in early this month I was pretty lost on what to do since I knew that Amazon don't deliver Kindle to Malaysia, so I contacted him. He was kind enough to contact Amazon on my behalf, ship the kindle back to Amazon and have a refurbished unit sent back here.

Truth is I was pretty afraid he would say no when I asked him to help me with the Kindle But he was very kind throughout the process

Picked up the unit today. It feels heavier, looks darker on the covering and display than I remembered. Not the same feeling as my old one when I hold the unit. I guess that's because it's been sometime since I last see and hold a Kindle. Aside from a subtle scratch in the middle of the screen (it's not visible unless you really look for it) it looks brand new. For a refurb unit it looks damn good. Feels more solid than my old one, and have none of the squeaky feels near the upper turn-page buttons (with my old one, when you press at the areas it will give way and you can feel it squeaking a little, of course it's not really noticeable, but it's there on both sides )

My point is, if you want to buy a Kindle, please don't hesitate to buy it from him. Great after-sales service, as kembara4 said. When I first bought my Kindle from him, he sent a text about a certain website registration, which I already registered beforehand Simple but very nice of him to do so
