Not sure if the above replacement unit was mine, but here's my story.
I bought a Kindle 3 Wifi from Ash in April, I think, and broke it in early this month Truth is I was pretty afraid he would say no when I asked him to help me with the Kindle Picked up the unit today. It feels heavier, looks darker on the covering and display than I remembered. Not the same feeling as my old one when I hold the unit. I guess that's because it's been sometime since I last see and hold a Kindle. Aside from a subtle scratch in the middle of the screen (it's not visible unless you really look for it) it looks brand new. For a refurb unit it looks damn good. Feels more solid than my old one, and have none of the squeaky feels near the upper turn-page buttons (with my old one, when you press at the areas it will give way and you can feel it squeaking a little, of course it's not really noticeable, but it's there on both sides My point is, if you want to buy a Kindle, please don't hesitate to buy it from him. Great after-sales service, as kembara4 said. When I first bought my Kindle from him, he sent a text about a certain website registration, which I already registered beforehand |
