Not sure if the above replacement unit was mine, but here's my story.

I bought a Kindle 3 Wifi from Ash in April, I think, and broke it in early this month shakehead.gif I was pretty lost on what to do since I knew that Amazon don't deliver Kindle to Malaysia, so I contacted him. He was kind enough to contact Amazon on my behalf, ship the kindle back to Amazon and have a refurbished unit sent back here.

Truth is I was pretty afraid he would say no when I asked him to help me with the Kindle tongue.gif But he was very kind throughout the process nod.gif

Picked up the unit today. It feels heavier, looks darker on the covering and display than I remembered. Not the same feeling as my old one when I hold the unit. I guess that's because it's been sometime since I last see and hold a Kindle. Aside from a subtle scratch in the middle of the screen (it's not visible unless you really look for it) it looks brand new. For a refurb unit it looks damn good. Feels more solid than my old one, and have none of the squeaky feels near the upper turn-page buttons (with my old one, when you press at the areas it will give way and you can feel it squeaking a little, of course it's not really noticeable, but it's there on both sides whistling.gif )

My point is, if you want to buy a Kindle, please don't hesitate to buy it from him. Great after-sales service, as kembara4 said. When I first bought my Kindle from him, he sent a text about a certain website registration, which I already registered beforehand biggrin.gif Simple but very nice of him to do so biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
