hye, I think TS talking about J Card and not Aeon Credit Card. JCard annual fee RM12 and supp card FREE.

I got J Card too (use together with Credit Card), don't know how the points system works but every year I get rewarded with vouchers (not from points redemption). Only 2 week ago, went to renew my J Card and found out that I can get RM50 vouchers at Customer Service.

Thanks to boonykun, now I know that we ger rewarded 3% rebate for purchases at JJ and that does not include the 0.8% from J Card points. Anyone can confirm TS's comments.

Best time to get anything (especially big ticket items) in on J Card day. In addition to getting reward points and further discount, we get RM10 voucher for every RM100 spent smile.gif

Its J card got annual fee while Tesco Clubcard is FREE.

I got Tesco card too and I do shop at TESCO, but the cash voucher I get from TESCO is like RM1 or RM2 rclxub.gif

Taking the supermarket aside, JJ is a departmental store whereas TESCO is a hypermarket, different category and market segment. And on J CArd Member's day, the JJ will be jam packed, can even cause traffic jam at FEderal Highway for the MidValley outlet.

So anyone can confirm boonykun's comment on the 3% and 0.8 csah back?

above does indeed helps a lot. thanks. I know that Electrical have different cash rebate but never bothered to find out how much or T&C.

Not too bad, we get 5% for GMS during non sale period.
When there's a sale, who cares, we get better discount tongue.gif But seriously, on top of the sale we do get 3% cash rebate smile.gif

Now I know why I got the cash voucher, I bought a Scholl shoe end of last year and that most probably made my total expenditure at JJ department store more than RM500 in the last half year. Must make note that need to spend RM500 half yearly to get cash rebate from JJ.

TS, you should start a list where we benefit from using/having a J Card.

I think they gave my mum a RM50 renewal voucher.

You pay RM12, and get a RM50 voucher.

Not that they gave your mum RM50, but it is JJ rewarding your mum for being a loyal customer, read previous post on how the rebate is given. The RM12 is annual fee, need to renew card to claim the rebate.

Don't simply get too excited. There's a reason behind it. U got to spend a good amount. They don't just hand over vouchers like that. Just like Gen-X boasted in his blog, he got RM100 vouchers only to realize later the reason for it coz' he has spent over a certain amount.

Yah yah , I did get RM100 voucher from JJ but that I mentioned in my post at my blog dated 2009, and that was because I guess I bought a LCD Tv from JJ. Click here to read my article on that.

This year only RM50 and as you say only realize how the rebate works after this thread came to existence and thanks to you in particular, low7, for posting the link. This thread is great for JJ card holders.

TS, maybe you should also mention that we get 5% at GMS during non sale period in your 1st post and other discount rate. And that we need to spend above RM500 half yearly to be eligible for the cash back reward. Some may be too lazy to click on link you posted to read T&C.

Everything will be cheaper than normal. I would suggest you scout around 18th-19th April to make your shopping list.

Agree, scout around first as on the J Card day itself it will be like a market and the Q at the cashiers will be long.

And ronnie, thanks for highlighting the J card days, I actually have an appointment at MV on 20th so going to cancel it.

Today I was at AEON 1U to buy a birthday gift, for cosmetic (I bought a bottle of perfume) every RM100 get RM10 voucher, but today last day. Also I was surprised they have "happy hour", certain items have extra discount during certain time.
