QUOTE(fuu @ May 8 2011, 11:52 PM) Guess mine's an exceptional case . I saw the the message 'void' appeared on the machine when the Amex card was inserted, so the salesperson said the card is not accepted, hence I had to use Visa. Next time I'll go for Amex-accepting Focus Points Sometimes it is the cashier who isn't trained enough.... |

QUOTE(chemistry @ May 10 2011, 10:46 PM) He was too concerned with the Buy1Free1 stuff LOL. Definitely Starbucks Malaysia is getting higher revenue unti 31 Oct 2011... I wonder if this offer is valid in KLIA.How many of you have patronized Starbucks more frequently than previously since the launch of Buy1Free1? How do you view this promo? Is this a trap to make you spend more unwittingly? |

When using the AMEX at Toys R Us (Empire Shopping Gallery), there's one particular Cashier's EDC terminal doesn't accept AMEX.
It gives an error "Retry Batch Trans" when you insert the AMEX. When used at other EDC, it works... persistence paid off to get my 5% Weekend Rebate. |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Jun 13 2011, 03:07 PM) Hey guys, if I want to do auto debit for my Amex, I have to enrol via the Amex autopsy? Last time my other cards, I dealt directly with TM, TNB, maxis... For Amex it's different? Suggestion to deal directly with each vendor to setup the Auto-Debit.Does Amex charge an admin fee for auto debit? |

When I used my Maybankard2 AMEX at IKEA, the cashier required the 4-digit CVV code in front...
IKEA uses Alliance EDC terminal |
