fisherman10> Is you powersave button lighted up when on battery? It should be on in order to get that long battery life.

That's a lot of wear. Mine is still at 0.00% after 4 discharge cycles.

I usually leave it on charge most of the time. Only if I am carrying it around, would I use the battery, and even then, usually at 7.4 to 10mW (IE, steam, wifi & 60% brightness).

Added on May 9, 2011, 1:01 pmAnd I've never let it drop to 0%, 30% min.

I just got an answer to "Does it play Crysis?"

It's a "Hell, YES!!!"

(I got it off steam for USD 7.5 last week biggrin.gif)

Positive review. Nice.

Too bad he got a different keyboard config. We're lucky we only have the right shift & enter joined.

On the other hand, he got the 750GB model.

Surprised he got the 7.5 hrs on idle. I wonder if it's because of all the bloatware?

Just received an email from Acer feedback. They asked to complete a survey. I brought to their attention of the built-in battery and tight USB ports.

That's one advantage the dell xps has with a backlit keyboard.

Damn cheap. RM2109 only after conversion...

Also noticed that the 5830 is the cheapest model, and the 3830 is the most expensive @_@

The 3830 falls under the ultraportable class of laptops, hence no optical or floppy drives.

My battery wear now reads 7.72%. This is because of way too much World of Tanks, Crysis, Bioshock Civ 4 and a crapload of gaming...
