Read some Macbook 2011 rumors just now, it's gonna be updated in April(hopefully), I might wait for the update of it before I make my decision.

Oh my god I'm so indecisive!!!  shakehead.gif

U mean macbook white? I think its quite likely they would discontinue it though since the new MBP13 came out, it seems totally like an entry level to me..

Yes, same SANYO Li_Ion 4000mA.

I thought the battery is 6000mAh. Is this a mistake from ACER or BatteryCare?

the capacity is still 66600mWh in the photo what

mA and mWh are two different units. mA is capacity of battery. mWh is power usage.

mAh is capacity... mA is the current

Voltage * Current (A) = Power (W)

4000mAh is not necessary wrong, it depends on the battery voltage also... 66600/4000 = 16.65v, maybe the battery rated 16.65 volts?

EDIT: Batterycare probably got the model name wrong... Since in the brochure it did state it as 6000mAh...

Overcharging will cost battery wear what lol.

There's no such thing as overcharging nowadays.. The battery stops charging itself when it's full.. The thing that increase wear level is heat from the laptop..

that's old specs and using 1st gen processor... can't compare old tech n new tech since new one is much better.. don't think you can get 3 years on Dell with that price either

I understand what I'm trying to mean is. You guys say the battery wear is base on the heat. If let say I plug in cable and play for few hours and I can't take off the battery. It won't keep on charging but there's heat gathering and u can't take out. so battery wear is higher rite ?
*
The battery itself won't generate heat, the heat comes from the CPU/GPU being inducted towards the battery... Correct me if I am wrong...
