Yeah, the specs are less powerful, the battery life is shorter, it's a little heavier...but the design is so much nicer (especially in real life), that I am actually going to pick this over the 4830tg

Plus, the standard non-chiclet keyboard is so much easier and faster to type on... But still, despite the ugly design (my subjective point of view), the acer 4830tg is just better in every aspect. Ha ! I would rather stare at the g4 everyday than the acer 4830tg.

The seller in lowyat plaza told me that, Acer have stock now, juz haven't release it yet. Anyone knows how long does it take for Acer to release their stock???!!!

International Traveller's Warranty doesn't apply to us Locals if I am not mistaken

but when i google, it said the international traveller warranty is valid when u buy the labtop here, and u can claim the warranty any else where except in malaysia. so???

Currently I am in US and not bringing my 4830TG with me. I discovered acer.com.my has a link to the Intel Sandy Bridge chipset issue. You may key in your 4830TG to verify your unit is affected or not.

i rather spend RM400 more for 4830
