zheilwane interested to know your view.

my upcoming kitchen comes with quartz top. consultant suggested to get top-mounted sink for easy replacement in future.

the top can accomodate max 2.5' length sink.

do u have HCE single-bowl sink with 2.5' width (about 760mm)? preferable deep bowl to fit a wok and thickness between 1.0-1.2mm?

no preference to material, can be either granite or stainless steel.

so far, i see model GKS 7851 (granite) or KS7645/7646 (stainless steel) that fits the bill.

i saw some sinks with 2 bowls: 1 big + 1 small. wonder can fit my top or not.

For easy maintenance and less silicone at the side, undermounting the sink would be a better choice.

When customers ask me this top or under question, i will first ask them,

1) Your old sink is under or top? Most of them will answer under (90%)

2) How long have you been using the current sink in your old house?? (common reply 5 - 10 years)

3) Have you ever change the old kitchen sink before? (upto date none of my customers change their sink)

After answering these 3 questions, they will find the answer that is to undermount their new sink.

THe only sink that can fit a big wok nicely is KS 9049 and this is designed by Builders Hardware, only available here. Unfortunately, the width is 900mm, so cant fit your size. Do drop by my shop and will give you good advise.

thanks.

this is for new condo, so the whole kitchen top is newly built.

kitchen consultant said for sink replacement, the whole quartz top may need to be removed, hence the tedious part.

assuming the chances of sink spoilt is extremely rare in 5-10years, of course undermount would be ideal. biggrin.gif

sure, would drop by your office to have a look some choices.

i'm interested with GKS 7851 (granite). can PM me the indicative price or can you share the latest catalogue?

If your main purpose is to get a sink to fit a wok, GKS 7851 wont fit it nicely like KS 9049.

May b u can bring the 3D drawing of your cabinet design with measurement, then i can advise on that as well.

with 760mm, dont think can fit a wok sad.gif but GKS 785 would suffice for the time being.

sure, will bring the measurement/plans when dropping by.

gotten measurements from kc contractor.

max width about 508mm (should be the bowl size). 50mm spacing on left & right.

i'd change to stainless steel smile.gif

any suggestion for stainless steel with bowl size of 508mm (max)? budget about rm600, preferably not more sweat.gif

zheilwane, where can i find the technical drawing (dimension) for HCE sinks?

i'm thinking of KS-5344, but not sure what is bowl dimension.

my contractor is asking for the technical dimension before he can quote me. if he's ok, perhaps i could safely get this model.

else, need to search for suitable unit jor.
