Blanco is one of the popular brand for granite sinks but granite sinks can crack if not careful with how you use the sink.

Anyway that sink setter video shows the sink setter screw to the wood. Need screws etc but I don't know if it works with concrete top

Sorry, if i am following this right, you want to mount granite sink on quartz counter top?

If that is the case, quartz is heavier and more durable than granite. So why can't the contractor mount the granite sink on quartz countertop? rolleyes.gif

Oh, top mount and undermount sinks will have silicone confirm.

This is because for undermount, you may not notice it but if you see carefully the outer edges where the top and sink are seamlessly joined, silicone is applied there to minimize any leakage although silicone is also applied on the sink lip before mounting the top over the sink.

Usually they will use clear silicone for this and I think the type of silicone used is the higher end range in which it does not turn black or have fungus after a short while.

What I am perplexed why is it heavy to undermount a granite sink? As far as I know, maxxon has a HCE granite sink undermount with quartz countertop. Check out her house thread at post #704, page 36. Pictures are there.

There is also a guy, a home owner from another forum who DIY his own kitchen cabinet set up including sink support.

Definitely expensive. Think will be around 1-2k for the sink alone from amazon. But if can get from TB should be cheaper

No. Kraus and Kohler different brands

I just cite kraus as an example in TaoBao because you won't be able to find that many related searches for Kraus sinks compared to Amazon. Saw a few forumers from another forum, mention Kraus is actually called Sellena in Taobao.

Believe can find Kohler sink if you look hard in Taobao or Tmall
