This USB DAC is just a soundcard, isn't it? Is there a need to install driver? Do I need to uninstall my current sound driver? (I'm now using motherboard onboard sound) I'm on Win7 32bit. Will it work in Win8?

Personal opinion - Yes it humbly beat the SB

Some user opinion - same par, slightly better, better - but all agree it is but more open sounding n emotional, great for musics

looks good solution to use as front panel output. if it good for music then it should be good for fine audio details on games.(idgaf about positional 3d effect etc)
ill consider buying later if got balance on my upgrades budget.
