If the agreement is stamped, the tenant will have to bear the stamping fees.

As for paying tax. Do you mean the tax on income from the rental?
What happens if you the agreement is stamped but you do not pay the rental income tax? Will they be able to detect and go after you? Just wondering how efficient are these JHDN  hmm.gif

My landlord is giving me a permission to do the tenancy agreement. One thing bothering me is I may be promoted to General Manager probably February next year and may be posted to Bangkok. If dapat la..

So can i put this clause on the tenancy agreement :-

Option A
Both Tenant and Landlord are entitled to terminate the agreement by giving 2 months prior notice provided both parties agreed

or should i put it like below

Option B
Both Tenant and Landlord are entitled to terminate the agreement by giving 2 months prior notice.

If I put Option B, there's a chance that the Landlord wont sign and ask me to amend the agreement.. sweat.gif

Go for option B, there is nothing landlord can do if u really wanted to end the agreement right?

put 2 month deposits and then let landlord charge the monthly rental from there towards the end of your agreement period

Probably you are right that they are efficient in getting what you owe them.

As for them to revert on your queries pertaining to their wrong computation, etc, it will take ages. They will give you the run around...

Witness just to confirm that the persons signing the agreement is indeed the persons named in the agreement.

He or she is not reaponaible for the contain of the agreement.

Witness role is just to double confirm the person signing it is real and actual person, not forged signature.

Witness does not hold any liability in event tenancy goes wrong.

Hope this clarifies. Anything else want to ask in private, most welcome to PM me.
