yes i know.. but the main reason cant disable any core is because that is not fair to lock cores in 05, but use all cores in 11.

but is up to the organizer to decide..just asking..

I'm sorry that it is not allowed. You need to you full core of you processor by default for 3DMark05. So for your case assuming you are using a Phenom II 6 Core, you will need to use all 6 cores in the 3DMark05. As for unlock core cases such as 555BE, once it is unlocked to 4 cores, then we will consider it as the default processor for the challenge. You cannot unlocked-to-4-cores 555BE for 3DMark11 while locking it back to 2 cores for 3DMark05. So end of the day, we consider the 555BE a Phenom II X4 once it's unlocked. So for 3DMark05, it needs to be run at 4 cores which is the "default."

Cannot mixed unlock & lock result.. But basically i do believe u can submit score if u submit it independetly eg: 1 submission as x4 & another as x2

Dafreak: To be precise, 3DMark05 you have to use Full Core. Let's take 555BE as an example, if you unlock it to 4 core. Then 3DMark11 you can use 1,2,3 or 4 core as you like as there's no such ruling for 3DMark11. But i'll take it as Phenom II x4 result, not 555BE. So 3DMark05 you have you use all 4 cores. But if you do not unlock your 555BE, then your 3DMark11 you can use 1,2 cores while 3DMark05 you need to use the max core which is 2. So the main thing is that i see the processor you are using. In CPU-Z, both submission of 3DMark11 and 3DMark05 has to show the same CPU.

The requirement is to run Performance Mode. And if i'm not mistaken, 3DMark11 Basic latest version allows that. And it's free. Correct me if i'm wrong.

and how about screenshot?..after bench is completed,i mean for basic edition?..coz most likely the result only allow to view on the net..

Deeply sorry, after i checked through, Basic Edition really doesn't allow Offline Result Management. I guess we have no choice but to use Advance Edition. I'm truly sorry for didn't check it earlier.

Btw, could you just try to share your online result and let's see if we can accept it or not.
