based on a lot of popular gamesite,yeah it does,
but i did not find a concrete confirmation.

that might be referring to the StreetPass feature of the game where teams of 4 generals/characters can be set to be sent into battle with the opposing team when 2 3DSes "meet" while passing each other in sleep mode.

i just unlocked the SpotPass mode for this ... wonder what that does ??!

when i cleared about the 5th stage in Part I Story mode there was a message saying "SpotPass is now enabled".

i have no idea what is does though ...

I thought spotpass already enabled since you first start the game?

Addon: I think it's streetpass not spotpass, haha ... It was unlocked after stage 4 if not mistaken

Yeah,sorry for mistake.
it got DLC and Streetpass features only.

okay, got an update, the info from Nintendo was wrong, there's no online Co-op
