iPad 1/2 and GPS navigation, Anyone using? Pls share experience

if we put the Ipad 2 on the passenger seat lying down without the need to make it standing, does it work? some of u were saying that it's too bulky to be on the dash but i thought the best solution is just having lay down on the seat next to u will do right?

i just download sygic, the UI rocks. i wonder if the speed camera work or not. anyone try out b4 when speed trap is ahead?
