yes, i have try it on kies, and also have upgrade it with kies, but you need to install spooffw to your phone cause as you may read, that release is for europe, so you have to "trick" kies in seeing your as a europe phone.

dont know to say screw up or not, and cant say "gingerbread" gps, 1. i test it at my room windows, which the 2 version of BETA could get a signal or at least view of 4 5 satellite. and the official gingerbread i could not get a single satellite when i put it there, unless i connected to internet which means agps.

but then today i test it on the road(no internet), it show views but no lock, after some minutes then it locks, the signal strength is super low compare to the previous version, 20-25 strength only. so yeah, it is a crap compare to the BETA, but who knows the coming version. maybe better
