my current firmware version is PDA:JP1/PHONE:JP1/CSC:JP1 (XSP)

have 1 question here...kies say that my divices cannot be updated. so that means my sgs is current firmware?

is there any way to backup the original rom that cw the machine ?

for me darky 9.4 battery life far better than darky 9.3...
i cannot tahan with darky 9.3 battery life... maybe i should call it darkula 9.3.. lol

i just collected my phone from Samsung center, they changed the motherboard for me. but now i cannot download anything from the market. why aa? always stuck at "starting download"

That is an old august froyo firmware. You can use kies hack to get any firmware you want or use odin to get latest official SEA region rom (dxjpe) or other current rom like zsjpj or js8.

Not really. We use odin to get back to original rom

go to setting > applications > manage applications > find market...clear data...try it...maybe it can help solve your problem..

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > all

Wait a bit and find Market. Click clear data and then force close. Reopen the market.

This problem sometimes do occur. I don't know why.

Added on March 23, 2011, 3:44 pmBtw, I'm getting excellent edge speed with even more accurate gps tracking with zsjpg modem than xxjve.

It took 3 minutes before proper lock. Before this, close proximity with buildings or trees on the side of the road hinders gps signal. But this particular modem has no problem with it.

I strongly encourage you guys to test out these new modems. As I said before, YMMV according to carrier, location and phone.

i have a connection problem..

everytime i set to 2G only, i wont get connected..

it only connect in 'auto-mode' which is 2G/3G

Since SME changed your motherboard and factory reset did not solve the problem. Why not flash your ROM using Odin with repartition? Use hardcore guide which was written for DXJPE. Anyway, check your 3 button mode first.

.pit should be 512 or 803? i only have one file for the dxjpe.

The pit should be 513.
