reload tng with credit card at petronas consider petrol category?

for hlb wise is no. for other cc is yes.

just curious, if yes, why like most of the concern here is to reload using amex?
might as well get citiback cash back/uob one etc petrol cash back visa/master to reload tng in petrol station at 5+% rebate ?

because amex is 5%+2% (in tp).
there's one bhp in jb accept cc for tng reload, yes, you can get 5%+5% (in smart$) if you use uob one.

yes they do accept cc for tng reload..but did not asked if can use amex or not..
however, weekends they're closed for business if i'm not wrong

KL Sentral TnG Hub does not accept Amex. Last month i did a top up there.

tng hub at bangsar south = mon-fri 8:30am-5:00pm ; sat 8:30am-1:00pm
tng hub at kl sentral = mon-fri 10:00am-8:00pm ; sat 10:00am-3:00pm

plus toll cs at damansara, jalan duta, subang, sg besi, sg rasau, or batu tiga = everyday 7:30am-7:30pm (including public holidays)

all does not accept amex; only visa/master.

darnn..if only they accept mex....5X TP!!

i've been bugging them almost every few months.... and also to ASTRO (M2U via AMEX)

need more people to pressure them to enrol AMEX svc and allow their customers to pay via AMEX.

I do write an email and check with TnG via FB as well. They reply does not accept Amex and ask them any plan in future? Never answer me back...

please enable to use amex soon as every month top-up 100, u get 500TP...not easy to earn TP with amex as not widely accepted

yep, they wont commit on commercial terms. must be sked we hold them responsible for making promises!

if u spend mostly in KV, should be fine kot.

for TnG, i whacked about RM400-500 per swipe. not staying near Petronas Kinrara, so swipe it big!

for me, my whole month's spending are exclusive to AMEX even on weekday spending, swiped with AMEX too.

so far, my spend locations are: Petronas, TGV Cinemas, Starbucks, Watson's, Ichiriki and Vivo Restaurant, and the ever useful payment for UNIFI

tomorrow will be the last weekend of the month, time to overpay some bills to maximize this month's CB

I finally found one place which we can use Amex to top up for TOuch n go.
Location: one of the Shell stations in bandar Mentakab, by KKR MAJU sdn bhd.

Surcharge 1% , + RM0.50 service charge.

The 1% surcharge is paid by cash or charge it into Amex ?

Charge into amex. Meaning Rm101 will be charged into amex. And of the total RM100 credit, 50 cent will be taken off as service charge.

still worth it as 5% cash back is way sufficient to cover the rm1.50 service charge imposed
but only weekends

Dont forget there is still 5x treatpoints, which is equivalent to 2% cashback.
