So far the only petrol station that accept AMEX reload TnG is Petronas Kinrara?
*
sadly, yes, so far.

i'll only go there if i go to Pyramid. else, it's costly just to go there, topping up tng to get the cashback. smile.gif

if the TnG reload counter @ KLCC lrt station is the official TNG SPOT/HUB, then they already accepting visa/mc. smile.gif

even 7-Eleven is planning for TnG Reload; not sure what cards will be offered (even now, not sure if they accept visa/mc on their POS terminals).

How nice if every of the LRT station can accept credt card for top up. Just like what MRT/BTS at BKK. They do accept credit card top up for minimum of THB300 per transaction. All major credit card acceptable, ie, Amex, Visa, Mastercard, JCB. From 8am to 10pm..wink.gif

yeah, shud put more pressure to the incumbent operator smile.gif

TnG itself (with its IP) is owned privately, it's up to them & operators to setup a common reload kiosks for such reload.

again, even if there's open tender, most likely de facto goes to TnG smile.gif

welcome to Malaysia!

If no need to purposely go out of the way, then 3% still better than cash. Cuz 5% + x5TP can cover the 3%

First time I asked if can use amex he say can (prolly 2 months ago)

Second time (about 2 weeks back) I think it was someone else ( I can't really recall) said cc can be used. But when I took out my amex he replied "oh cc cannot used".

lol yeah, typical eh tongue.gif

earlier was thinking to renew on April to max the cashback out. but since i've maxed my March cashback quota, gonna push the renewal to May (expire on May anyway).

well, not feasible for me to get another card cuz avg monthly spending around 500-600/month. only a few months that i'll hit >1K.

if there's no GST/AF, i would've gotten a spare card for predictable spending (e.g. petrol, unifi).

UOB One almost fit but the waive eligibility is high, for me anyway biggrin.gif HLB Wise has high eligibility (10x RM50 per transaction to even qualify for cashback).

no other cards are useful for sporadic high spending, best was OCBC TMC, but the 1% cashback is peanut negligible LOL ... even mbb2amex TP is higher thumbup.gif

oh well. less card is better, in long run.

TnG here doesn't accept Amex. The counter with Amex sticker is only for "MyRapid" cards.

Source : I went there earlier.
