Have you activated your premium navigation? (see first post)
If yes, probably you haven't get a satelite connection yet.. have to wait. Mine wait for at least 1 minute, or sometimes 5 minutes+++

chiangjh : bro u would need to do a full wipe again because the problem might be coming from the theme u included is not suitable with the rom or it got mix up with the stock rom cause u din do a full wipe

What ROM was you on before CM7..? It's recommended to do a full wipe before flashing another ROM, especially if it's different base / different ROM...

To restart, take out your battery and see if you can get to recovery mode or not.

- Format Data / Format Cache
- Go to ADVANCE menu > Wipe Dalvik Cache & Wipe Battery Stats
- Go back and select "install zip from sdcard"
- Select "choose zip from sdcard" & point the location of .zip file

If still too slow, can try FasterFix .. many user says that it increase the speed of satellite locking.
