To me the high contrast and durability was worth it.
Now i'm using dye subs though instead which had slightly less contrast, but way better durability :}

In fact, just grab those ''donor board''(G80 series with Hxxxx) from taobao. Cheapest I saw are less than RM200 RMB with cherry brown/clear. Though most of them which are cheap are having oily/shiny keycaps already.

Double shots may be more durable in term of the wearing of fonts but then it is less shiny/oily proof than PBT keys.

May be one day those ppl from KBC can make aluminium/titanium key caps injected with colored PBT? (though i guess the price per piece will be about RM100 )
First is to make a metal keycap with holes of the fonts on it(not necessary to have the keystems). Then, mold those plastic(pbt) into those holes and make the keystems.
Alternatively, they use make the way DECK double shots are made. Each keycaps is made of 2 pieces and made seperately.

For all this while, i am using my BWU with a keyboard protector(like those silicon for laptop one, just that this is JUST long enough to cover those macro keys and numpad fully).
I dont really feel those click too loudly(and those semi-faulty switches' click become barely audible ).

With the protector, i dont type on the rubberised keycaps(scare to wear it out, later bad resell value) and i can easily not bottom up(pressing those key half way and the protector layer will limit the movement but if wanted you still can continue it, just that stiffer). I dont even fully press down my WASD key when playing CS, LOL.

Not bottom up blue when gaming, ayam a pro.

Not really, that way can maximize the size of logo. Just like drawing a maximum size triangle on a square rectangular. It should be slanted instead of vertical.

BTW, i really get poisoned on the titanium space bar part...
