okay, after some try with Cherry MX Red from Leopold FC500 in gaming and typing. i could say i'm quite happy right now.

but it was quite pain in the ass to learn to type lighter compare to Cherry MX Black that i'm used to.
because it was noisy as hell as i use excessive force to type the keyboard. resulting all key to bottoming.

Btw, i realize this keyboard is more easier to double tab compared to black because key need less force to press compare to cherry mx black.

But do note the might be too light for certain people's taste, the switch weight is similar to cherry MX blue but due to the fact it doesn't have a clicky and a bump. it will result a "Too easy to typo"

Key are very very easy to type on, just that, you might annoyed when you started to use this keyboard.
1st require less force to type compare to the keyboard that you use previously which may make you typo like fag.
2nd Noisy with the clack clack clack sound as you first tried the keyboard and used too much force to press.

No one joining this MO?
Poison - Click only if you dare

I confirm down for one set - but shipping is USD$16.
I'm sure if I can get 2-3 interested the shipping can be reduced down to less than USD$10 per person.

i believe the problem would be the pricing.

Price is definitely high
Keycaps are doubleshot manufactured by Signature Plastics
They are about 33 people now. It should reach 50 soon enough.

I guess most people just put it in their tenkeyless board since the Logo might spoil the look.
*
the problem is left with the optional choice of both version, those optional choice won't fulfill the 50 order, even total is 33 order, it's possible half of them going A and half of them going B, which led to higher price. since you need to remember only one of the order reaching 50 will then have discount for that certain order, Example A reach 50 order, then A price lowered.

well, i can't say much because i distribute Leopold, saying stuff wouldn't justify anything. >_<

For quality wise, i think Leopold are better, but for feature wise, ducky is still the winner here as it has multimedia key and FN key, and support for mac and linux as it could change key position.(i love my DK-9008 T_T but quality not good, sob)

Leopold still have full keyboard and a tenkeyless model,

Full keyboard has Black, Brown, Red. ( Blue not yet available, quality under inspection in manufacturer)

Tenkeyless keyboard has black, brow, blue. ( Red not yet available )

for Leopold space problem, i am proposing a fix to it,. hopefully the new keyboard they release will be able to fit filco space bar.

nevermind, at least I can get some input for Leopolds.  tongue.gif

I checked VR-Zone, and the Leopold full is selling for $159, which is around RM380? too much for me.
guess I'll stick to Ducky 9000.

I'm not a fan of multimedia keys, nor do I even use them. But then I can't live without macro buttons of a mouse smile.gif

*edit
PC Home is something like Amazon? when I search Ducky 9000, tons of keyboard comes out?
*
well, some correction,, they don't represent Leopold or as a leopold distro, they are just organizing a MO. =/

and also, they doesn't have ready stock, currently now, they are still under nego with leopold. btw their price? well, i don't have any comment, since they set and sell this price themselves.

Added on May 9, 2011, 4:46 amBtw, thanks alot for telling me about vr-zone in singapore selling leopold, i don't alot of times surfing thru forums.

wow, looks like the thread is getting more and more popular, btw i just receive my white Engraved PBT keycaps from taobao. pain in the ass with the glue.

i spent 5 hours, sanding, cleaning, recheck, sanding, rinsing with soap, and done. sanding one per one key over 104 key is really a nightmare.

eh, you're bringing in Red switches for the first bulk only right?  rolleyes.gif

For Full keyboard, if from what i read from Leopold HQ sent me, Blue is currently unavailable, but Brown, Black, Red will be available, so, currently now, i'm planning to bring those first.

Is there any needs for Tenkeyless? if there's none, i'll focus on full keyboard first, then Tenkeyless i think for 2nd batch.

those kits are 300$ ~ 400$ USD for casing alone, without cherry MX Switch and Board.

This is another expensive hobby if you wanted to get them, (still better than DSLR Camera =X)

It's sublimated into the material so it won't peel off.

You need to WEAR the material of the keycap in order to have the lettering fade off.

Topre really knows how to make good keycaps - that's their forte. Can't see any other improvements in other sections though.

A good explanation can be found on Signature Plastic's website:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

that is also why topre real force keyboard are expensive, they are expensive for a reason.

i have white pbt keycaps here so i just some tried on the keycap, the key texture is good and smooth(abit more slippery feel if compare to ABS plastic).

Search PBT keycap or Polybutylene terephthalate .

PBT is resistant to solvents, shrinks very little during forming, is mechanically strong, heat-resistant up to 150°C (or 200°C with glass-fibre reinforcement) and can be treated with flame retardants to make it noncombustible. (Taken from Wiki)

they need UV protection i think, since what i read from moogle chat with those people in vr-zone.

pbt caps on my PLU has some sort of coating on the lettering, more durable i guess?
