Oh that~
Tokina 1116 for DX, f/2.8 and acceptable sharpness! And not that pricey too, worth the money.

Nikkor 1424, still need a why? By far the best UWA zoom lens at the moment. 1635 VR, sharp and comes with VR, not as sharp as the 1424 but is pretty good.

No sensor is 100% perfect. My D700 do have dead pixels too, and it will grow more and more as you use it.

Well, I used for a few events but when shooting wasn't exactly satisfied somehow on LCD but when viewed on my computer PC it looks ok!

Could be due to I overzoom during viewing on my camera LCD, cause I was trying out the zoom in/out feature with the ok button and was using large instead of medium magnification.

Snipe using a telephoto from far! Settle keke. Must be you were using 16mm go straight up and shoot right!? Ok, just kidding LOL. But telephoto is the way to go if you plan to shoot strangers (especially in Msia).
