QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Apr 1 2011, 07:31 PM) I mean the Sigma 30mm f/1.4. Better choice than the 35 f/2? How much is the Sigma btw? if I have more moneh I will definitely go for sigma 30 1.4 it looks sharper than 35mm 1.8 and 35mm f2 in my eye

QUOTE(noobie1 @ Apr 2 2011, 02:15 AM) why need to step down to 2.2 and so on? because it is not sharp? seriously are you guys expecting rm 1k lens deliver a sharp picture at wide open? even sigmalux is not too sharp in wide open.

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Apr 2 2011, 08:19 AM) Should say it's sharp, but not EXTREME, or ULTRA Sharp It also depends on the focusing distance, if you're focusing close, usually it's sharper and keep ISO lowest to maximize the sharpness. That's why previously I said, to do proper comparison with shooting same subject at same distance with same camera shot by SAME person, then the image from different lens gets compared by different person; Now it depends how much difference is the sharpness... Just like the cameralabs testing, DPReview, and other detail review which shows you the same subject taken by the same camera by the same person and same distance. If we want to truly determine the difference, then it's only fair to do very detail and extreme testing before judging. As cameralabs did, they also did FIELD test which is another important test to test how the lens perform in actual usage. Just my cheap 2 shutter clicks. agree with this one.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 3 2011, 02:32 PM) Stand beside him, let him take 1 shot. Then you wave to the models and its your turn. Simple It depends how crappy the light is ;-) bro I got a question, how do you remove a shade which fall into model's face w/o using flash? QUOTE(KTCY @ Apr 3 2011, 02:33 PM) Nightmare ? with f/1.4, everything looks so bright how about shade? I don't think f0.95 will remove the shade which is falling into model's face.

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Apr 3 2011, 02:42 PM) Either flash, lower shutter speed, or a reflector lower shutter speed with makes the image looks overexposed or maybe me not good enough to understand that. anyway will it remove the shade? QUOTE(gnome @ Apr 3 2011, 02:43 PM) In my experience if you using a big big lens, no need to wave one...just hold up your camera and the models will turn their attention to you Well that what happen during KLIMS last year
