QUOTE(eddy230379 @ Mar 30 2011, 10:26 AM) bro ... u forgot to crop out the spoiler in the first picture ... yeah.. this time you will be the organizer anyone else wanna join us for some street photog ??? date & venue to be confirmed ... anyway bro. there is a sudden change in our plan. my friend is leaving malaysia soon. he finished his study. so we decide to go to Nikon anniversary on Thursday after working hour. therefore I myself not sure whether I will come on Saturday or not. QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 30 2011, 10:31 AM) ya ya...don't you feel B&W can make the picture more "depress" Err.. Frankly speaking I am not good in B&W. I mean I don't know when to use B&W and when not to use it by the way...personal opinion la... i feel colour is over saturate a bit I am new in photography ma... Not until that level yet I suppose.. QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 30 2011, 10:45 AM) the very PnS photo?QUOTE(geekster129 @ Mar 30 2011, 10:54 AM) you can't simply black and white your pic and expect some magic to happen. The color and contrast has to be right in order to give the feel. Otherwise it will look like some PnS photos in newspapers. Ohh.. Okay. Will train more to get the feeling in B&W. Thanks for the guidance |

QUOTE(eddy230379 @ Mar 30 2011, 02:47 PM) it is awesome bro. not to forget it has black shutter button unlike the other consumer camera with silver shutter button. and it feels so right in the hand. hahaha...QUOTE(azrinarizz @ Mar 30 2011, 02:55 PM) No such thing as registration. Nikon mentioned on FB that it is a first come first serve. Any brand can go, anyone can go. Will be there xD but most probably wouldn't be able to attend the talk because my boss will come as well. |

QUOTE(eddy230379 @ Mar 30 2011, 03:05 PM) they way u said it makes me wanna change my D90 to a D7k ... hahaha ... i shall resist the temptation ... hahaha.. you might as well want to change to FF or the replacement of D300s.D90 to D7000 is not worth for me. but having D7k as your 1st camera is awesome! some sellers said the price of sigma lenses went up is that true? |

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Mar 30 2011, 03:30 PM) Where you bought at RM4250 and where's the place offering RM4100 now? Can keep myself updated in case friend wanted to get one yeah I heard rule of the thumb but it's kinda impracticable. it's very hard for me to get 1/105 (in this case 70mm)Do you read about Rule of Thumb for photography? Where shutter speed value = 1 / (focal length), therefore for DX should be shutter speed value = 1 / (1.5 x focal length), then use the next faster shutter speed near or same with the value. |

QUOTE(Str33tBoY @ Apr 1 2011, 01:33 AM) why are you selling it? you've been using it for less than 1 month right? did farewell party in kenny roaster midvalley. give my friend's 50mm 1.8 to the kenny's staff and ask him to take picture of us (15 people) very funny finally change it to 18-70 but the guy also cannot shoot. maybe d7k is too canggih for him This post has been edited by aldosoesilo: Apr 1 2011, 01:55 AM |

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Apr 1 2011, 02:24 AM) For use on DX only, you guys suggest the 35 f1.8 or 35 f2? But 35 f1.8 has 3/4 EV light fall off compared to the 35 f2. Compared at the same aperture of f2.8 (in the CameraLabs review) I suggest 35mm 1.8it worth value of moneh. not to say I hate 35mm f2 or biased toward f 1.8 but seriously play with both you know it. I shoot my 35 1.8 mostly at f2 or f2.2 it is sharp enough well for 35mm f2 you don't expect magic happen on rm 1000++ lens right? of course you still have to step it down. QUOTE(noobie1 @ Apr 1 2011, 10:45 AM) you can shoot at f\1.8but if you want to get sharpness stop it down. it doesn't seems like 35mm at f2 is sharper than 35mm 1.8 at f/2 1.8 will give you more option. for me 35mm 1.8 is sharp enough even at 1.8 here is the sample 35mm f1.8 at wide open ![]() Added on April 1, 2011, 1:18 pmwhen you stop it down you can start to see magic. 35mm 1.8 at f2.2 ![]() Added on April 1, 2011, 1:20 pmanother wide open shoot ![]() This post has been edited by aldosoesilo: Apr 1 2011, 01:28 PM |
