i got the Nikon frame for around RM350 ... the Nikon lens cost me around RM450 & its a high index multi coated lens but the Hoya lens was RM380 only ... been using Hoya all this while & this is the first time i tried Nikon out ... not bad & i would stick to it from now on ...

check out this link for the lens coating ...

It doesn't really matter I guess as not many of people out there as particular as us. I find it acceptable as I resize before I upload smile.gif
*
thats the thing ... everytime have to resize ... better just upload to flickr and then put the link in FB ...

Haha! Even if you clean it the optics won't be as good as new already anyways.
True, I did compare one where I upload in full size (and FB resizes it to 720pix) versus the photo I upload at 720pix. Can see the differences as FB compression method is lousy. It is going for optimal size.
*
FB makes my pictures look pixelated & grainy ... where else in Flickr its nice & buttery smooth exactly like how the original picture source is ...

I don't see much differences between my Flickr or FB at such small image size la haha~ Unless you compare 2048pix then yes.
*
cos i dont resize my pictures when i upload to FB ... i just use the so called "high quality" upload function in FB & it sucks to the max ...

What size you upload to facebook ? Full reso ?
*
yup ... the full 12mp from my D90 ... hehehe ... i know ... i know ... i should resize it but if Flickr could do it then i suggest Mark Zuckerberg to buy over Flickr from Yahoo! ... hehehe ...

No wonder. Flickr and FB different platform la sleep.gif
Will you load a 5MB photo from FB if you're just to view it normally as well as normal people viewing it, will they actually wait ?
For me, I won't.

Resizing can be done in batch as well. Don't be lazy tongue.gif
*
i usually keep the original RAW & JPEG files after conversion ... so i am lazy to resize and keep another batch of pictures just for FB ... plus i am a bit lazy ... brows.gif

laugh.gif To me those photos won't bring any meaning else once I upload.
And I don't earn a single cent thru that ma. Saving in HDD causes my HDD to be damn pack. That's why usually street shooting, food photo and landscape, all gone to recycle bin once upload wink.gif

bro ... how come you dont carry dirt cheap Nikon Malaysia warranty lenses ???

It drop faster than D90 price drop laugh.gif
Thank God I'm not in that group.

perhaps maybe the price drop of the D7k is to make way for hyped D400 ??? hmm.gif
