QUOTE(KTCY @ Apr 1 2011, 05:13 AM) Your say? QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 1 2011, 08:20 AM) That's why, I was shocked too. The 35 1.8G looked very decent wide open, handling on CA looks better too QUOTE(./Hack-Fusion @ Apr 1 2011, 10:46 AM) For DX user, better use the 35mm F1.8G....the sharpness is super in f1.8 (base on my 1.5 years experiences), i can't live without this lens due to the IQ and frame is just my liking. Really? Can't spam some wide open pics of it? 35mm F2D is more recommended for FX user, why?? becoz i'm using it on my D700 |

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ Apr 2 2011, 04:01 AM) Yeah true, good focusing Getting my f/2 on Monday, hopefully will fall in love with it Added on April 2, 2011, 4:19 am QUOTE(eddy230379 @ Apr 2 2011, 03:17 AM) the only primes i have tested so far that is sharp at wide open is 24 f/1.4G, 35 f/1.4G & 85 f/1.4G ... thats like the Nikon Prime Trinity for me ... For me, 24, 50, & 85 would be better but Nikkor's 50mm is not that good. I have a good feeling that Nikon will release the long awaited 50mm f1.2N AF-S soon Btw anyone using Spyder 3 Express? How is it? Good enough for the price? It's RM370 here in KB This post has been edited by FaezFarhan: Apr 2 2011, 04:21 AM |

QUOTE(Beanie2304 @ Apr 2 2011, 08:02 PM) Hey, I'm using 50MM also! Haha! I would suggest the Nikkor 16-85, but since you need the f2.8, then get the Tamron 17-50 VC Anyway, any good recommendation for a standard zoom lens (doesn't care is third party or not) that cost around 2K? 2.8 F value preferred. Tried the 35mm f1.8 & f2 just now. Seems that I like the f1.8 version more. Will decide first, then get it later

QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 3 2011, 12:59 PM) So far my experience is AF-S focuses more accurately. Even the same case on the 50G and 50D, the 50G is slower, but more accurate in focusing compared to the 50D. Exactly! I had this on my mind too just now. I feel like the AF-S focuses better. And the handling of CA is good at f/2 for the f/1.8 lens Might be the case with 35 f/2D and 35 f/1.8G |

Thanks guys! Got it for Rm800, coz it's in Kota Bharu. Can't wait to get it so just bought it here instead of waiting for next week
The lens looks decent on the D90 too, unlike the old lenses |

Guys, how's the performance of the Nikkor 12-24 f/4? Is it worth the price?
I know a lot of people recommends Tokina 11-16 but I feel it's too short. I feel like replacing my 17-50 with a UWA This post has been edited by FaezFarhan: Apr 5 2011, 01:06 AM |

I want to play with CLS badly but sadly the SU800 commender is so expensive.
How's the Yongnua flash's performance? I feel like buying 2 more to play with my Yongnua triggers lol |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Apr 5 2011, 11:03 AM) I think this got fill in flash. Can't remember clearly. I bought Yongnua triggers already last time. Pretty reliable » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Get third party la. Phottix atlas not bad tho can't CLS la. Just normal strobe It triggers my SB900 but not my Di622, so thinking of selling the Di622 and get 2 Yongnua flashes |
