Hold on a minute, 35 f1.8G is sharper than 35 f2 AF-D?

For use on DX only, you guys suggest the 35 f1.8 or 35 f2? But 35 f1.8 has 3/4 EV light fall off compared to the 35 f2. Compared at the same aperture of f2.8 (in the CameraLabs review)
