i'm sure the pirate will thought of something to overcome this new format
it might just like the old days where they squeeze in D9 data into a D5 disc, sacrificing the cut-scenes and the video of the game  so you might get a pirated GOW3 without any cut scenes in the future |

news that the new updates which is on trial now with few selected users, successfully killed off the ability to run all of the jack sparrow discs, not only AP2.5 disc
 few modded console running the new updates, lost it's ability to run all of their jack sparrow game collection, older games included |
