Could it be the meals that you have been consuming? It's kind of related to the breast milk. It's not entirely the baby's problem if your daughter/son has not passing motion for 2 weeks...

Try to recall what you have been eating these few days...

Regards, Joey

Yes..sometimes it's the food..when i was fully breastfeeding...i really watched what i eat...and see if there's any adverse reaction when my son drinks my milk

Try prune juice for baby. Other than that, introduce a routine for baby, just like one of the forumer mentioned, since newborn, with "mmm mmmm" sound. biggrin.gif

If full bf, diet of mum is one of the main factor. Like me, during confinement, as chinese diet will add in a lot of heaty food, so, my bb was having heat rashes on face, a lots...

but after confinement, when i went back to normal diet, her skin was getting better.

I heard from my friend, her colleague bb not poo for 5wks, bb need to go for operation. I asked my friend, was mother eating heaty food a lots? Yes, my friend said with CURRY sauce for EVERY meal in the office. So, better watch out the diet.

i did not give a single drop of water or another liquid during my bf period n she poo n pee normally.

Woah..., 5 weeks is too long! Didn't the parents try to consult doctors before that?

how to toilet train till baby goes bowl by herself? my bb crawling. Once i have time, i will put her in bowl to pee. n make regular time for her to poo. so far ok. But i really no idea how to teach her to go by her own.
