and i see no argument point between which polarity... its like arguing about the crossover points... there is no right or wrong... whatever sounds best, thats where it should be...
and its marked + and - is not because its supposed to be connected that way... its just as an indicator, if there is no markings, then the people with multiple sub will have a hard time making every sub in the same polarity...
and well... either ways, it wont damage the sub.. unless of course, on a DVC, both coil are not in the same polarity... that scenario, well... the sub wont "dance" also...

I trust my ear. The more the argument then the more headache when come to tuning part.
Added on October 5, 2011, 11:34 amI did reverse my sub polarity the get the upfront sub bass. Being almost two years playing with my subs still working fine.
