QUOTE(froz3nnoob @ Mar 23 2007, 08:51 AM) What i meant is when i'm using Windows XP SP2 i download the Client with 1 hour and 20~30 minutes. But When i'm using Windows Vista i can't use DAP to download but normal downloading style it took me 48 HOUR TO DOWNLOAD IT O.o" so the problem is there anyway to make me use DAP to download ????? copy paste the link into DAP to download? or try flashget, free download manager, opera or firefox DownlThemAll plugin?

QUOTE(asellus @ Mar 26 2007, 01:58 AM) The recycle bin is empty. Dunno where the deleted files went. Yes, this somehow did the trick, but it is not consistent. Sometime it works, some other time it doesn't. shift-delete it. if u delete files using normal delete to recycle bin + emptying it, windows still have the files on ur HDD for restore. don't trust me? try this. go to folder option, enable show hidden files and show system files. go to drive where u install OS, there will be a folder called recycler. inside is where all your files or porns are ... work on any partition you have

QUOTE(ruffstuff @ Mar 26 2007, 04:20 PM) It's campus launch event. All MMU staff and student are eligible to get their free copy of Vista business OEM. Collecting stamps each booth by answering few simple questions, then you have your vista product-key. Sound very simple, but it ain't. The lines is killing us. Too many people. Most of us queued for at least 3-5hrs. look like you all fall for M$ trick. they like torturing peoples. and another things, there are no free lunch if here got that knid of event, i will go queuing too lol

QUOTE(samlhc @ Mar 27 2007, 08:44 AM) Just bought 2 unit of Dell E520 + Vista Business Edt to test. Annoying popup when accessing program inside control panel. Play chess also make the whole system freeze out. Haven't test out other problem yet.. Will downgrade back to windows XP Sp2 for sure coz Vista business/ultimate edt comes with downgrade rights. And it still able to upgrade back to Vista for future. If the Vista quite stable for couple month, will be migrate back to it loo. personally, i fell vista already quite stable. that annoying popup is the infamous UserAccessControl (UAC). disable it in user account setting

QUOTE(leepast @ Mar 28 2007, 09:19 AM) One more thing...it's kinda shock me...is it normal when i open this laptop (without pressing the power button) it will automatically log in to windows? Those laptops are Dell Inspiron 640m. did u actually turn off your notebook before? the default function for power button in start menu is standby, not shutdown. and vista can automatically turn on by opening the lid. same as shutdown/standby if u close the lid. can be configure in power option/advanced.
