Also, you might want to try on phantom rom instead of stock rom since that giving you much more performance

so far sometime the camera app will "not responding", at first i thought device got issue, or sd card..after a while, renamed DCIM and it's done

which rom you trying to flash?

normally at the end of flashing the phone will enters recovery mode, and it will automatically reboot, if it doesn't, while SUTLR still displaying "rebooting phone", quickly unplug the usb cable, enter the recovery mode manually and replug the usb and the process will continue

makesure the SUTLR is displaying "rebooting phone", when the phone enters "charging" status instead of recovery mode.

on cm 7 mp4 plays fine, but when on rev3d, the colors are distorted

from the androidpt forum

so far the mp4 can't be played properly unless renamed to *.wmv, but will try other stuff as well

battery life still terrible, standby from 11pm->8am battery drops to 60%

suddenly my phone orientation seems "broken" ..wonder if this a bug in rev4a, tho

just the calibration bug i think, recalibrate and it's fine already

don't restore, you've to flash back entirely using SUT.

Flash to any custom 2.1 rom first before you try to flash to another 2.2 custom rom such as phantom's.
Too much steps? yes, this to ensure you won't lost your IMEI after you flashed to new rom.

If you lost your IMEI, just flash to any 2.1 custom rom, or ori spice 2.1 rom, or firetrap 2.1 rom will also work.

rom manager backup won't work in some cases, believe me i've tried it
but for precaution, use SUT to flash to 2.1 rom and then from there you flash to another 2.2 rom using SUT

report on battery status on rev4a
- 15h 30m - battery usage is on 50%, even though I forgot to logout ebuddy/fb and disabled wifi when I was asleep, .. wifi sleep policy is set to never.

quite nice battery usage, aside from mp4 issues (which can be renamed to *.wmv to fix it, tho it's quite bit hassle)

Added on April 30, 2011, 1:12 pmalso, forgot to mention about some flaws on cm7
- battery usage is terrible, unless flashed the kernel
- network issues, like in phone calls, etc. sometime will drops
- can't manually assign operator network (network connection error)
- camera/video recording issue, where after few records the camera app will stop responding, unless you renamed the DCIM folder.
- light sensor doesn't work
- touch sometime got problem :s

else, have to reset it via master mode.

just remember, the screen isn't scratch resistant as you *might* thought, tho..better use a screen protector..mine accidentally scratched a bit
