I'm not sure about gold contacts, will let nej give his opinion on this. But I was actually referring to the end process of his sleeving, before he slides the contacts back into the brackets, did nej shrink the tube onto the wires 1st or he shrink it after fitting back into the black brackets. Hope i didn't confuse any1 here. I've done sleeving b4 but not mdpc sleeving, too tedious for me. So, in my case, i shrink the tubes onto the wire b4 slotting it back into the brackets.
