I get a small booklet and a recycle bag from Maybank branch upon receiving my card, it's just a T&C booklet(BM and BI) on how to use your credit card.

btw has any1 encountered problem using MBB American Express Card?  Went for Labodega last night for dinner, according to the promotion, I was supposed to have been able to enjoy 50% discount.  I was denied it.  Simply, that the MBB AE card that I am holding is not the original American Express Card,

faint showed the assistant manager the brochure but to no avail.  Looked like a stupid fool yday, and ended up calling the CS to complain, who wil revert by today.

The 1-for-1 deal at La Bodega is only applicable to the original Amex Platinum Credit Card and Amex Platinum Charge Card. Maybankard 2 Platinum Amex is not entitled to this offer. It is clearly stated in the T&Cs.

Don't you know that MBB CS is one of the worst in the industry? Most of the CS officers don't even know the products and ongoing promotions. This happens to Alliance Bank too. You will get heart attack if you keep receing wrong information from them.

Anyway, the T&Cs in the website and advertisements in the newspapers have stated Maybankard 2 Platinum Amex is not included. You don't need to argue with MBB anymore.

Great pair of cards. Don't have to worry about where to buy to get the 5x points and 5% rebates as well (though the cap is quite small IMO).

Amex has also some of the good benefits (Buy 1 Free 1 Starbucks!). Would have preferred the Mastercard but when they first launch it only got Visa.

1x TP is normal transactions for all Maybank Credit Cards
4x TP is bonus points for Maybankard2 AMEX

Total is 5x TP

IMHO, Mastercard has better promos in Malaysia....

Regardless.  When i called and checked with CS, CS gave me the wrong information, which i relied upon, then it is truly their fault.  Further, if the brochure was only intended to be for the Amex, by putting the advertisement of Duo card at the end of the brochure is misleading.

For other banks' credit cardholders to apply, still need to give all the documents eg. income tax, salary, etc.?
Thought just need to give ic or credit card photocopy enough.

So is cr.card photocopy applicable to Maybank application?

It's not mentioned in the application form, that's why i'm unsure. And no time to go to branch to enquire/submit application. Was thinking of faxing only
