Does it include LCCT? It says unlimited and also supplementary

T+Cs are a bit stupid though.

HSBC Premier Plaza Premium Lounge Programme Terms and Conditions apply. Programme Period 8 January 2013 to 31 December 2014, both dates inclusive. The complimentary access to the Lounge is limited to the first 15,667 Eligible Customer only on a first come first served basis throughout the Programme Period

How do you know, how many customers have already used the lounge blink.gif

Nowadays when you enter, theybswipe your card against the merchant terminal. So they know smile.gif
But you as a customer will not know.

Bit stingy really considering it's not such an easy card to get.

Just received Maybank 2 cards so planning to do most my spending on there with the increased rewards compared to HSBC Premier.

Although I have to say HSBC CS so far has been far superior to Maybank (took 6 weeks to get the card, pledge FD + pay RM10 stamp duty etc.)

Instead of annual renewal, MB now gave me Infinite card with 5 years validity. Good on MB. Thanks.

Like to know whether anyone has got the Priority Pass card with 5 yrs validity.

That will be very nice if they do that now.

Should be receiving my VI next week, will update here what validity they give thumbup.gif

@Gen-x

What's the deal with "Visa Airport Speed Pass" , any good? I see it listed as a benefit of Maybank VI card, but website it links to hardly gives any info - just gives you a quote?

To tell you the truth, I don't know  laugh.gif

I guess it's the priority lane when we go thru security check and/or immigration. If you are flying Business or First Class and even Air Asia Premium Ticket (not many know this), you get to go to the shorter "priority" lane.

For My USA Trip 2013 (click here to read it),  my son got me FREE 1st class tickets with his United Airline Milelage Plus Silver Card account and I was showed to the "Priority Lane" in US biggrin.gif Same for my son when he flew with MAS Business Class when we departed from LA whereas I had to Q in the freaking long general line as I was in Economy!!! In USA this "Speed Pass" may be good because the line leading to the security check is usually freaking long.

But here's a joke, there has been once ot twice when I flew into Melbourne with AA, I noticed that I cleared Immigration faster in the general line than those people in "Priority" Lane because only one officer was serving that lane, hahaha

Yeah, the website they link you to gives a quote of $72 USD and mentions escorting you through the airport and removing language barriers etc. doh.gif

I don't mind shorter queues but definitely wouldn't pay for the privilege !

Looks like I'll have my VI in a few weeks, so can see when I fly to Europe in Dec

Yah, it's not FREE and that is why you never see me mentioning about it as a benefit, hahaha

And by the way, in my article titled My USA Trip 2013 (click here to read it), I also posted photo of the United Airlines Lounge, called United Club, in Los Angeles. Now, here is the thing, I entered the Lounge not because I had a first class ticket with UA (the 1st class ticket I had won't allow me to enter!!) BUT I entered using my Priority Pass Membership Card  thumbup.gif So next time you guys see a United Club lounge, just go ask if you can enter using your Priority Pass Membership Card  nod.gif

Yeah, hardly a benefit if it costs $70+ , also shows as being available with other cards.

I now have HSBC Premier which gives access to PPL in KLIA (although limited number of access per year) , Maybank VI will add 5 x yearly using Priority Pass and Citibank PremierMiles Amex has unlimited PPL across Malaysia and also HKIA which is where I travel to most frequently so I should be pretty well covered thumbup.gif

My son will be going to Jakarta on a school trip. Like to know whether it is possible for him to use my Priority card to enter the lounge (I will not be going).

Any one has tried this?

Thanks.

I think in some cases the checking isn't very thorough , in Europe as a teenager I used to travel with my father's BA Executive Club card (his name is the same as mine, apart from the middle name) and was never questioned or stopped when using the lounge and even got upgraded a number of times rclxms.gif

Although I guess could have got in trouble if they checked the DOB blush.gif

QUOTE(Ethan @ Jan 9 2014, 10:35 PM)
Hi guys, I need a card that offers unlimited access to PPL KLIA.
According to my research, it should be either Citibank Platinum or Citibank PM AMEX.

Both of the cards offer 15% discount for liquor puchase at The ZON in KLIA, but I don't remember seeing a The ZON duty free shop in KLIA. All I remember is ERAMAN. So, where is this The ZON in KLIA?

Can someone please help?
*
I hold CB PM Amex, and yes it does have unlimited access to PPL KLIA (Didn't get to use it this time though, got to the airport too late laugh.gif )

The duty free with 15% off where I bought my liquor is at the baggage collection area in KLIA , not sure which company it is but shows up on statement as "DFZ Sepang", also not sure if they have in LCCT as not used that recently.

And as previous poster mentioned - Free taxi ride home with 3 international swipes which is a good deal - there's no minimum transaction limit either as far as I know. The 3 receipts I provided the other day when using this were only for 30-40 EUR in total between the 3.

BTW, midnight charge still needs to be paid and isn't covered by the free ride home blush.gif but still saves me around RM100 getting home from the airport so can't complain smile.gif
