In response to my query on the conditions for renewal of the Global Priority Pass (GPP) membership for Citibank PremierMiles, attached is a screenshot of the reply from Citibank Malaysia.

[attachmentid=3155683]

As per Citibank's reply, an active PM credit card will be based on if:
i. Customer spends actively at least once a month; and
ii. Customer renews the PM card with annual membership fee paid.

Does that mean the GPP membership will not be renewed if we manage to obtain a waiver for the PM card annual fee of RM600? rclxub.gif

Note: This was also posted in the Citibank Credit Cards thread.

I wonder any of you all have managed to get annual fee waiver for this PM credit card..because I feel like terminating it due to the RM600 annual fee

I managed to get my annual fee waiver in July this year without any fuss. However, the Priority Pass card was not due for renewal yet as it is valid for 2 years.

Ok bro. Will keep it for the time being. Thanks

I just applied UOB Visa Infinite yesterday. They are now giving 6x complimentary entry to airport lounges a year (Priority pass), but it's still better than my citibank PM which is 2x only. (Dear admin please update this info)

Could it be that the UOB Privilege Banking Visa Infinite grants unlimited entries to PP lounges, whereas the Non Privilege Banking Visa Infinite grants 6 times entries? Even the design of the two cards are totally different.

yeah, maybe our moderator can change the 1st page info to UOB P Banking Visa Infinite as there is a new UOB VI card coming out since June

hkboey, you are right, local lounges very lenient, they allowed me to use two or more Priority Pass Membership Cards plus other credit cards to get FREE entries for my family members. Bro, no need nego, just tell them how many entries you need and give them the cards.

But Skyview Lounge at Changi T1 won't allow me to use 2 Priority Pass Membership Card for 2 entries  sad.gif Actually, I am back to having 3 PPMC cards.

wfyt - check out my facebook page post dated January 12 - https://www.facebook.com/GenXGenYGenZ

Now, like I mentioned above, Skyview Lounge won't let me use 2 PPMC, so what I did was use one of my PPMC card to let my son enter Skyview Lounge (near Gate D) and then I head over to Rainforest Lounge (near Gate C) and use the other PPMC card to enter it myself. Click here to read about it and see photos of Rainforest  Lounge at Changi T1.

To ALL,

Same question keep popping out, can we give our card to someone else to enter without us being present? Legally no, because most card require us to sign on a slip, so if you are not there to sign it, that means the person carrying your card need to forge your signature. Moreover, they will ask to see your boarding pass, malu if the person ask why the name on boarding pass different from the card.

Now, I said no to above, but it does not mean it cannot be done - up to your own imagination how to overcome it.

I used uob visa infinite to enter the lounge with another 2 persons. No problem.

You can always request for waiver with UOB. And like you said, Alliance VI Reward Points better and on top of that we get 2X for local spending plus  UNLIMITED FREE entries.

Sorry UOB is very stingy. I have to terminate their VI last year because they don't wanna waive the ST sad.gif

just noticed maybank updated their visa signature card to include unlimited complimentary access to Plaza Premium airport lounges in Malaysia, which also includes 5% cashback for petrol and groceries. Might want to switch out from my cimb visa signature which doesnt really provide much.
