Just realised that the CIMB Visa Infinite i also grants unlimited access to Priority Pass airport lounges worldwide, which brings the number of credit cards granting unlimited Priority Pass lounge access in Malaysia to 6:

1. Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Inifinite
2. Citi Prestige World Elite MasterCard
3. UOB Privilege Banking Visa Inifnite
4. Maybank World MasterCard
5. CIMB Visa Infinite i
6. Alliance Visa Infinite.

6 visits per annum is for UOB Visa Infinite (non Privilege Banking), whereas UOB Privilege Banking Visa Infinite grants unlimited Priority Pass Lounge access. By the way, the 2 card designs are also totally different.

we are speaking too much only about Plaza Premium which is only good for instant noodles and beer.

let's talk about other nice and fancy lounges across the world, like business class lounges which you can gain excess to via PP

The T&C is quite clear actually. It says you can use Plaza Premium Lounge in Malaysia up to 4 times only (for free using your CIMB Preferred VI). For The Green Market at Changi, you can use it as many times as you want as there is no restriction on how many times you can use it in a year.
If you are holding a Business Class ticket, you'll get an invitation to the airline's lounge or the airline's partner lounge is the airline you are flying with does not operate its own lounge at the airport you are flying out from. Alternatively, you may also use the airline's lounge if you hold a Gold Status (airline frequent flyer program) even when you fly Economy Class.
