I wondered if there is a lot of difference between KLIA Plaza Premium & MAS Golden lounges?

You only need to attain Enrich Silver & above, then join their Golden lounge access programme. But of course, one need to pay for it though.

It is not that tough to get the AMEX Plat charge card these days since MBB AMEX department is constantly offering pre-approved on such premium cards. The only main concern should be the hefty annual fees.

The AMEX Plat charge card is notorious for not waiving annual fees unless you are a high spender of over RM 100k annually (quoted from MBB AMEX dept officer who offer me the pre-approved card). Same goes with the MBB WMC.

Maybe any members here managed to get it waived at a much lower spending annually can share with us.

Just tried SCB VI (without showing the priority pass) at KLIA Plaza Premium & guess what? They do not regconise the SCB VI & said it is not entitled.

Never took up the Golden lounge package though (at additional RM 500 annual fees)...

Confirmed both AMEX Plat (without MBB logo) charge & credit card (including supplementary) can access both PPL KLIA & LCCT.

That explains the exorbitant annual fees

Not necessarily FD, other investment related also considered.

I believe loan at certain amount also qualifies PB.

Some additional info on the SCB VI's Priority Pass. It seems if you have deposit or investment of RM 500k & above under your Priority Banking account, you can request additional Priority Pass for your SCB VI supplementary holder as well.

1. Supplementary card can be applied (but without Priority Pass) even if you open PB account with the minimum RM 250k. The RM 500k and above amount is for the supplementary card to get its Priority Pass card.

2. Yes should be unlimited but never really tested it enough since I am not a heavy traveller.

3. This one I am not exactly sure if you never use the card, but SCB VI AF should be waived as long as you retain as PB customer.

CIMB VS comes with 2 complementary passes/vouchers to KLIA PPL. You need to use one voucher for each entry, not by showing the CIMB VS. So ask your principal card holder to share one voucher with you.

Can you explain further on this? I can't remember seeing this as a feature in Citibank Plat cc. Thus far I only know it allow access to KLIA PPL & lately there are reports on successfully accessing LCCT PPL too.
