There are still many cards to gain access to low cost terminal, such as  infinite card with priority pass, rhb card 4 per year.
*
Yea. Guess I'll have to use my Amex Plat and SCB VI from November onwards. And I'll have to bring one less guest with me doh.gif

is citi Platinum cardholders still can access into LCCT PPL?
*
No. Effective 1 November 2012, both Citi PremierMiles and Citi Platinum no longer grant free access to LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge.

Maybe he asked because the immediate few posts above specifically mentioned only the Citi PM. smile.gif

Hi, I am a Citi Platinum Card holder. Interested to know if the KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge is accessible for domestic travelling? Thank you.
*
No, the PPL at KLIA is located at the Satellite Building and is only accessible to passengers traveling on international flights. sad.gif

Can i ask, how to get the Priority pass for citi pm card?
Do the priority pass come with expiry date?
THanks
*
The Priority Pass card is issued with a validity of 2 years.

QUOTE(b00n @ Oct 22 2012, 04:52 PM)
If not wrong, it is by calender year.
They will give you the PP card. So when you enter, you will just need to show the priority pass membership card. If you have utilized more than twice per year, they will automatically charge your premier miles card. (someone may correct me if my information is wrong, because the last I used in Bangkok, I need not show them my Miles card. They just swipe my PP membership card to admit me and my wife)
*
Yes, it is by calendar year. And you only need to present the Priority Pass card for access to any PPL globally.

QUOTE(maru @ Oct 22 2012, 08:03 PM)
I got sc platinum
Free Access unlimited?
Anywhere or klia n LCCT only?
Can bring ppl go in?
*
Yes, free unlimited access, but for KLIA only, not LCCT.

Not sure if you can bring guests. But even if so, you will be charged for your guests' lounge access.

I think the PP from Citi PM is no good if you are landing or departing from terminal 4 Heathrow, as there are no participating lounges in that terminal.
*
Yes, as per Priority Pass website, there are PPL lounges only at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

QUOTE(b00n @ Oct 24 2012, 05:14 PM)
But can renew as long as you still hold Premier Miles right?
*
Yes, upon request.

But recently Citibank has added a line on their website which states "Renewal of GPP is upon request and subject to Citibank’s discretion and Cardmembers’ payment of Card annual fees". Not too sure how it works. Does it mean the Priority Pass card will only be renewed upon payment of the PremierMiles annual fee? If that is the case, it would be cheaper to pay for the 2 times PPL access compared to the RM600 annual fee. rclxub.gif

Can you confirm on this, that need to send a formal request to get it renewed after a year? My one year has lapsed.
If yes, is there any specific form or through what method?

Thank you
*
It is supposed to be issued with 2 years validity. What is the validity period embossed on your PP card?

This is a very nice benefit for cc holder. So if the cc gives 2 free visits for the card holder, can the card holder bring his wife in and considered using the 2 times of access in one go?

If can do that, that will be nice, Have 2 cards with 2x access on each card, a family of 4 can all enter free!

Next question is which credit card gives this flexibility and not restrict to only card holder himself/herself only and will allow cardholder's quota for entry to be given to children.

Thansk for the info if anybody can help clarify
*
That depends on the terms and conditions of your credit card. With the Priority Pass card, you can always bring guests in. The issue is whether your bank will charge you for your guests' access. For example, the 2 times overseas entitlement of Citibank card can be utilized by bringing a guest for one visit without being charged. However, for Standard Chartered, the Priority Pass card allows the principal cardholder UNLIMITED access to any PPL lounges worldwide. But if you bring any guests, your card will be charged USD27 per guest per visit.

From my personal experience, for PPL lounges in Malaysia, if you have 3 cards granting you free access, you can bring 2 guests with you without being charged. But in Singapore lounges, only the cardholder has free access, guests' entries will be charged accordingly, ie, you cannot assign the cardholder's entitlement to a third party.

Thanks. That will be good.

Anyone can answer my 2nd question? If the lounge can enter both arrival and departure, I plan to use it twice.

1) End of Dec 2012 arrive changi airport use PP and enter for free with my friends.
2) 1st of Jan 2013 depart from Singapore, use PP again, utilize both year quota in 1 week.
*
I'm not sure about arrival, but you can definitely use it for departure. It's located at the Airside at the right end of the Departure Transit Hall on the mezzanine floor, near Gates D30 and D40.

Yup, effective 1 Nov 2012.

However, the Citibank PM and Platinum still grant unlimited 2-hour free access to the PPL at KLIA, Senai and Langkawi.

Quite a number of cards still grant free unlimited access to PPL LCCT, eg, Amex Platinum Charge Card, Amex Platinum Credit Card, SCB VI, UOB VI, Alliance VI.

Does that mean access to PPL klia2 will be limited to passengers travelling on international flights? If so, both PPL at KLIA and klia2 will cater to international flights only. sad.gif

with them giving cash out for new applicants like no body business, why is this not a surprise.

They are already suspending reward points for card spending until further notice, hope they don't start cutting my VI airport lounge benefits. Otherwise, it would be the last straw for me. >.<

then i have 1 more reason to cancel my premier miles card already.
thinking of switching it to the Citibank cash back platinum, just curious will this card allows access to KLIA Premium lounge?
*
Besides granting you access to KLIA PPL as mentioned by Gen-X, if you happen to use Senai and Langkawi airports, the Citi PremierMiles and Platinum also grants you access to the two PPLs there.

Only access to the LCCT PPL was discontinued.

thanks for your info.
I hardly go to the other airports that u mentioned.
CIMB preferred card grants me the access to KLIA PPL and also in the other airport lougues in South East Asia countries, so it serve the purpose well. Most probably will switch it to cash back platinum.
*
I'm not sure about your case but personally, I visit Singapore more often than the other SEA countries.

My previous CIMB Preferred card only grants me unlimited access to the Green Market Lounge at Changi T2, whereas my Citi PremierMiles Priority Pass grants me access to any of the 5 lounges at Changi T1, T2 and T3, but limited to 2 complimentary entries per calendar year.

Since MAS operates from T2 and AirAsia from T1, I guess which card benefits me more would also depend on how often I go there and which carrier I use more often. smile.gif

In response to my query on the conditions for renewal of the Global Priority Pass (GPP) membership for Citibank PremierMiles, attached is a screenshot of the reply from Citibank Malaysia.

Attached Image

As per Citibank's reply, an active PM credit card will be based on if:
i. Customer spends actively at least once a month; and
ii. Customer renews the PM card with annual membership fee paid.

Does that mean the GPP membership will not be renewed if we manage to obtain a waiver for the PM card annual fee of RM600? rclxub.gif

Note: This was also posted in the Citibank Credit Cards thread.

I wonder any of you all have managed to get annual fee waiver for this PM credit card..because I feel like terminating it due to the RM600 annual fee

I managed to get my annual fee waiver in July this year without any fuss. However, the Priority Pass card was not due for renewal yet as it is valid for 2 years.
